Second time purchasing from Discounted Cables

My first time using Discounted Cables I was on the fence, the second time I felt went much smoother but still has room for improvement.

On my first order (02/25) the shipping was a bit slow, much longer than 2-4 business days, and the boxes of cable came smashed. I'm on the West coast and the cable came from the East, it's logistics and I understand.

The second time ordering (07/25) the cable came from California, it was delivered quickly and without any damage to the boxes.

Having now made two separate purchases from the company I would like to suggest a few things that would be nice to see in the future.

The first, and my main suggestion, it would be great to see the company ship boxes of cable in an actual box and not ship cable in their own box. This would help provide added protection to the cable box and keep the overall structure rigid ensuring installation goes unhindered.

The second suggestion is web/e-commerce related and more of a "nice to have". It would be a great feature to be able to see where the item(s) will be shipping from, or is currently being held at, prior to purchase. This way people can make an informed assessment on how quickly they can expect the shipment beyond the typical "2-4 business day explanation." We all know things can happen that slow down delivery, this would just be an added detail that could help the customer make an informed decision about their purchase.

All in all my purchasing experience with Discounted Cables has been great.

For your website suggestion, you are absolutely right, the only issue that we have is sometimes we have stock in east coast and sometimes in west coast, that is the reason that you experienced a delay first time and not the second time, We tend to tell the customer where the product is coming from and also our store is shopify store so we update the tracking numbers there so client can see the ETA(Estimated Time of Arrival).
For your suggestion to put a box on the original box is a good one, it happens through our North carolina warehouse but not elsewhere.
We will strive to make things better and smooth.
