Construction

Each 23 AWG bare copper conductor is insulated with thermoplastic. Two conductors are twisted into a pair, four pairs are cabled together into the core, and the entire assembly is wrapped in an isolation layer that handles alien crosstalk suppression without adding bulk. The outer jacket is a flame-retardant polymer alloy, rated for plenum-rated air-handling spaces under NFPA 70 and UL's CMP standard.
