Wavenet RG6URXX4 RG-6 60% Dual Shield (CCS) CMR 18AWG 3.0GHz 1000ft Coaxial Cable

The Wavenet RG6URXX4 coaxial cable is a riser-rated RG-6/U built for residential and commercial installation where dependable signal transfer matters. Sweep-tested to 3.0GHz, it handles CATV, satellite, and broadband applications without signal drop, and its CMR jacket lets you run it vertically between floors in occupied buildings.

Conductor and Signal Performance

An 18AWG solid copper-clad steel conductor sits at the core of this RG6 cable, giving you a good balance of conductivity and pull strength on long runs. A foam polyethylene dielectric surrounds the conductor, increasing the velocity of propagation to 84%, which supports clean high-frequency transmission across the full 3.0 GHz range. Attenuation remains low, from 2.66 dB/100m at 5 MHz to 37.88 dB/100m at 3000 MHz, so picture and data quality hold up over distance.

Shielding and Build

A 60% aluminum braid forms the dual-shield layer around the dielectric, blocking external interference while keeping the signal contained within the cable. This matters most in multi-unit buildings, equipment closets, and dense wall runs where nearby wiring can otherwise disrupt signal integrity. A PVC jacket covers the assembly and works with standard wall plates, fittings, and compression connectors.

Where You Can Use It

• Home theater cable runs for CATV, OTA antenna, and satellite receivers

• Security camera cable for CCTV installations in homes and businesses

• MDU and apartment structured wiring

• Commercial CATV distribution and DOCSIS-based broadband
