Conductor and Dielectric 

An 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel (CCS) conductor, 0.040 inches in diameter, gives you the pull strength needed for long runs without losing signal conductivity. Foam Polyethylene (Foam PE) insulation surrounds the conductor at 0.073 inches thick, bringing the insulation diameter to 0.186 inches and holding a velocity of propagation at 84%.

Dual Shield Construction 

This cable pairs an aluminum foil shield with a 60% aluminum braid, forming a true dual shield construction that blocks signal ingress and egress. You can run it through riser shafts, equipment rooms, and wall cavities with elevated RF interference and still hold consistent coaxial signal quality.

Frequency Performance 

Attenuation stays low across the full sweep, from 2.66 dB/100m at 5MHz to 37.88 dB/100m at 3000MHz, with 16.70 dB/100m at 550MHz and 22.97 dB/100m at 1000MHz. This frequency performance supports HDTV installation, cable modem service, internet connection drops, and CCTV applications on the same infrastructure.
