The Wavenet AC1602RXX4-500 is a premium 16 AWG 2-conductor oxygen-free copper (OFC) stranded audio cable built for riser (CMR/CL3R) in-wall installations. With a 500ft REELEX II box, this cable delivers clean signal transmission for commercial and residential sound systems, distributed audio, and signal control applications.
Construction & Performance
Each conductor uses 65 strands of 0.0063" bare copper for high flexibility and low resistance (15.5 Ω/1000ft). PVC insulation (0.0122" avg thickness) surrounds each conductor, with an overall PVC jacket rated at 300V and 75°C. A nylon rip cord simplifies jacket stripping during termination.
