Description
Cat6A Outdoor Wavenet 6A04CMXBK2 1000ft
Wavenet 6A04CMXBK2 is a 1000ft solid copper Ethernet cable purpose-built for outdoor network runs. Four unshielded twisted pairs of 23AWG solid bare copper, wrapped in HDPE insulation, sit inside a UV-resistant jacket rated for direct sun and temperature swings. This Cat6A outdoor cable delivers 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance across a full 750 MHz bandwidth, well past the 500 MHz baseline that ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 requires for Cat6A. Contractors who need a reliable outdoor network cable for building-to-building links, outdoor access points, or camera runs get a cable with third-party ETL and C(ETL)US verification behind it, not just a marketing claim.

Features That Matter Outdoors
-
UV-Resistant Jacket: The PVC outer jacket resists cracking and hardening from prolonged sun exposure, a common failure point for standard indoor cable when pulled outside.
-
750MHz High Bandwidth: Rated well above the Cat6A minimum, so 10 Gigabit Network speeds hold up over the full 1000ft length.
-
Twisted Pair Cable Design: A separator between the four pairs keeps their geometry consistent, which limits crosstalk on long unshielded twisted pair runs.
-
Solid Bare Copper Conductors: 23AWG solid copper carries signal further and cleaner than copper-clad aluminum alternatives.
-
RoHS and ETL Certification: Independent testing confirms compliance with TIA-568-C.2 and restricted-substance standards.
Every reel ships with markings reading, CATEGORY 6A 10G 23AWG 4PR UTP CMX UV RATED OUTDOOR, so installers can verify category compliance directly from the jacket during inspection.
Where to Install This Cable
This outdoor Ethernet cable fits exposed, above-ground applications: between buildings on a campus, along exterior walls to outdoor access points, or up a pole to a security camera. Pair it with conduit for extra protection against abrasion and rodents on longer exterior runs. For projects that call for underground placement, check the jacket rating first, since a CMX outdoor jacket is not the same as a direct burial jacket.
Each 1000ft Wavenet 6A04CMXBK2 Cat6A outdoor cable reel comes wound and packed in a box, ready for large pulls without manual re-spooling.
