Utilizing proprietary Reduced Diameter (RDT) engineering, this cable delivers full 10-Gigabit Ethernet transmission while maintaining a remarkably slim 0.230-inch (5.84 mm) outer diameter compared to standard 0.260-inch Category 6A cables. This substantial reduction in profile significantly expands pathway capacity, improves tray-fill ratios, and lowers containment costs across complex architectural pathways.
Constructed with four twisted pairs of 23 AWG solid bare electrolytic copper insulated with high-grade thermoplastic, the Berk-Tek RDT cable eliminates the traditional rigid cross-filler spline in favor of an advanced isolation wrap and patented profile technology. Built with Leviton FLX-1 jacket compound, the cable offers unmatched pulling flexibility, tight bend radiuses (0.92 inches), and hassle-free box dispense, cutting installation labor and job site waste.
